What should I expect during the worship service?
We sing, pray, celebrate the Lord’s Supper, give an offering and listen to preaching. There are times when we stand and times when we sit. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure what to do. Just follow along as you are comfortable.
What should I wear?
We're a pretty casual bunch. Some wear slacks, some wear jeans, every once-in-a-while someone might wear a tie. Just wear what's comfortable for you.
What is the Lord’s Supper?
It is a small “meal” of bread and juice that reminds us of what Jesus did for us. We celebrate Jesus’ death, resurrection and the hope of his final coming when we eat it.
Who may take the Lord’s Supper?
Any baptized follower of Jesus is welcome to eat this meal with us. If you aren't there yet, simply pass the tray to the person next to you.
Why do you take an offering each Sunday?
The offering gives us an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to God for all he has given us. We also support several missions locally and globally. You are certainly welcome to give in the offering but please don’t feel any pressure to do so as our guest.
How long is the service?
Sunday worship services typically last about 60 minutes, give or take a few. We enocurage you to stick around for a few minutes and build relationships with your new friends.
What about kids?
Children are welcome to join their parents for some snacks and drinks before church in the back of the auditorium. Children are encouraged to sit with their parents and participate in the singing part of the worship. When Dave gets up to preach his message, children are dismissed to the Children's wing where they are led in age specific lessons and Bible Study led by background checked and trained adults.
